Hello From The New Chairman

To those of you that do not know me I am Paul Tanner and I was elected the new chairman at this years AGM.
I take over from David Brief who with Olly Harris set up the association and started us moving in the right direction. I would like to thank David and Olly again for all their efforts over the past few years and that we will continue to move the association in the right direction.
When I say "WE" the committtee comprises , Myself , Graham Tomlin - Treasurer , Bruce Vigar who has taken on the role of Events Co Ordinator and Class Secetary plus Robin Leather who has been doing a great job with the website.
I sail at Gurnard on the Isle of Wight and have had GBR 018 since August 2008 so just over a year. Its amazing how the shadow makes me smile so much and I really have enjoyed my sailing this year .
The website and chat page are really important to the association and hopefully if you have any questions or concerns or suggestion how we can improve you can contact me directly via the chat page or send me a private message.
We are a small but growing class and my hope is compete in all the TT events again next year so hopefully I can catch up with more of you during the year.
I know that Bruce is working towards having some suggestions for next years events available soon so hopefully we can agree on some suitable events that we can maximize our turn out.
