What time is the training likely to kick off in the morning?

Bruce - Do you really think that I would chuck you out to make room for Rob?
'Seawinds' has three bedrooms, Chas (+ Jan?) have one, you have another and Rob (+ Henry?) can have the third.
We will provide all bedding.

The one thing that you may have to do though is to prepare breakfasts for the campers (Olly + family at the moment) if they need it.

We are hoping to video the on water sessions and watch them later at the club. However if John needs to leave that evening (so does Rob) the video playback sessions may be better closer to our dinghy park i.e in the large living area of 'Seawinds'.

Bruce do you know anyone with suitable video kit?

I have just bought a new HD mini cam which comes with a fully water proof housing. It also records onto flash cards so no cables! It is designed for on board/helmet mounting so it has a very wide angle lens. I was planning to bring it with me anyway. I can bring something else with me as well if the above is NG.

Yes...looking forward to it !
I'll throw a tent in the boot and try and get across thurs evening, work permitting. Failing that I'll catch the first 'day return' ferry on fri, and should be at Gurnard by 11:00.

ps: to help heave my old carcass up over the front, I pull the port side righting line loop round the starboard side of the dolphin striker, and down. This leaves the loop at about the right height for me for a foothold.

If you are going to bring the car then consider the Wightlink sponsorship number that Carl posted at the beginning of this post. It may be cheaper than the normal Wightlink deal but worth checking the Wightlink Webpage.

Carl is directly across from the Gurnard March boat Park site where all the shadows sail from.

Have a Good Event - I am unable to make any event until Instow in June due to a combination of work and RYA courses. Hopefully will catch up with you all there.

Sorry chaps, like Mike I too will not be making it this year. Those of you who have not been to Gurnard before be prepared to be blown away with the location. I am on the Thursday 5pm ferry to Fishbourne so I should be there by 7pm latest. I have to put the family size tent up on my own (volunteers appreciated), then are we eating in a local pub? Any social plans for Friday or Sat PM?

Carl- is the Cafe open for breakfasts?
