How was your sailing this weekend?
Brilliant weather! How many weekends do we get like that a decade? Well it was on the East Coast anyway. Managed to get out for the second time this year in the Stone SC Open and had an eventful weekend! Managed to complete two races as the tramp split after Race 1 and in spite of Anne's brilliant needlework got back down to the course about 7 mins after the start of Race 3. Then on Sunday a real first - an UPWIND pitchpole as the bows stuck in the very confused wind against tide chop. I have very sore ribs but nothing broken. IN between had some very exciting sailing which proved largely that (a) I am unfit and (b) I have not been sailing enough! Wouldn't have missed it though!
